Donna Childs

From the Ground Up was formed immediately after 9/11 to work on issues of mutual concern for Lower Manhattan's small business community.  Having learned about long-term recovery from such a tragedy, From the Ground Up would like to make its member expertise available to other communities affected by major disasters.  Funds from Markham would help implement a cross-country speaking tour to educate, inform and raise funds for disaster relief for other local non-profit organizations.
